Open Auditions for upcoming tour "Princess Penelope's Parrot". Rehearsals begin August 18, 2026 from 9:30-1:30 T-W-Th Tour runs weekdays from mid-September thru early December 2026; January-April, 2027; and June-July 2027. Cold Readings from script and 16 bars of upbeat song a'capella.

Books Alive! has been touring schools/libraries/various locations throughout the Houston metroplex for the past 12+ years. We perform our original 45-minute musicals adapted from beloved children's books.
We perform up to 5 days a week, primarily M-T-W-Th-F during the day, September-December 2026, January-April, 2027 and Summer Tour June-July 2027.
Rehearsals begin August 18, 2026 and continue T, W Th from 9:30am-1:30pm in Katy, through September 10, 2026.
Fall tour opens September 15, 2026 and runs thru December 4, 2026.
Spring tour opens January 11, 2027 and runs thru April 29, 2027.
